Another month of doomscrolling and we're in June. I finally continued Gintama again and that honestly gives me joy. Episode 204 was about New Year cards and Valentine's Day chocolate. A random couple sent the Yorozuya a New Year card and attached a wedding and baby photo. Gin-chan really doesn't give a shit, and lamented..."You shouldn't assume that people will be happy about your happiness". That feels so true. When people update you with good news, sure, an obligatory congratulations is in order, but if you haven't been part of that journey, the congratulations feels hollow too.
