Quite often, new money individuals are described as crass, uncultured and abrasive while old money individuals are described as classy and polite. I am sure us no money folks would behave the same way if we suddenly experienced an income windfall. Furthermore, a lot of Instagram trash accounts thrive on "teaching" people how to look and behave old money. Comments are some variation of "if you're truly rich, you won't wear logos" or "only new money buy such gaudy furniture". Who cares? I have no money, so shut up and give me money.
